ELCC Provides Accreditation Services, Training Courses in eLearning
The E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC) provided a number of accreditation services and eLearning activities during November 25 -December 23.
ELCC accredited nine eLearning centers in four governments: Cairo, Ismailia, Aswan and Luxor, on November 25- December 3. The accreditation enables the centers to join ELCC network and deliver eLearning content, including the training programs of both ELCC and Cisco Networking Academy Program. The aim was to help develop the community and raise awareness of the importance of eLearning.
ELCC team also trained 27 instructors, on December 20, on how to use Cisco Networking Academy platform, create classes, add students, and administer online training. This is in addition to delivering Cisco Networking Academy courses to members of the community, including IT Essentials (ITE) and Internet of Things (IoT) courses.
In addition, ELCC team organized an online capacity building program, on December 23, via Webex, for 15 staff members and senior students at Kafrelsheikh University. Training provided information on creating e-content using Articulate Storyline.
The program aimed to help staff members to create and upload their own content on the Learning Management System (LMS), and senior students to find job vacancies in the eLearning field, after graduation. The training comes as part of the collaboration between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Kafr El Sheikh Governorate.
Founded in 2004 by MCIT, in cooperation with Cisco Systems, ELCC is Egypt's leading organization in e-Learning, with a track record of developing and delivering a wide array of state-of-the art eLearning courses, web communications and e-content.
